Oklahoma Greek Weekend believes every student has a story, gift, and purpose. Success is not defined by one path — it is built through creativity, passion, leadership, and the courage to showcase what makes you different.

The OKGW Creative Legacy Scholarship was created to recognize students who are using their talents, ideas, and creativity to make an impact.

Scholarship Award

Three recipients will receive a $1,000 scholarship award

Eligibility Requirements

Must provide proof of current college enrollment or acceptance into a college/university

Must have a minimum 2.8 GPA

Must provide an unofficial transcript verifying GPA

Submission Requirement: Show Us Your Gift

Instead of a traditional essay, we want you to show us what makes you stand out.

Submit a creative piece or talent showcase that represents who you are and what you excel in. Submissions should relate to Oklahoma Greek Weekend, Oklahoma culture, community, or the student experience.

Examples include but are not limited to:

Painting / Artwork

Music / Rap / Singing

Dance Performance

Photography

Fashion Design

Film / Video Production

Poetry / Spoken Word

Entrepreneurship / Business Idea

Community Project

Digital Design

Instagram Reel / TikTok

Any unique talent, skill, or passion

Selection Criteria

Applicants will be evaluated based on:

Creativity & Originality

Talent / Execution

Passion and Effort

Purpose and Message Behind Submission

Ability to Inspire and Impact Others

Submission Guidelines

All submissions must be original work

Video submissions should not exceed 3 minutes

Work must be appropriate for public recognition

Selected recipient may be highlighted by Oklahoma Greek Weekend
